Drew Ryan
Drew has experienced times of extreme brokenness as well as servanthood, and it's been these experiences that have molded and shaped him into the person he is today - a servant of Christ who longs to heal the broken. Drew loves to share with others how Jesus has changed his life, how Christ exchanged ashes with beauty and brought a dead spirit back to life again. Drew is currently working on his Master of Arts degree in Counseling at MidAmerica Nazarene University. Drew has recently become an addict to light backpacking and to trekking through unnavigated territory. He loves risks and longs for adventure. He also enjoys growing long beards!
Aaron Ward
Aaron has been serving at Rosedale for several years. He focuses on reaching the jr. high and sr. high youth. He brings an amazing gift to our ministry in his ability to create hip hop music that brings glory to God. Aaron has not only used this ability to write his own music but he has also taught some of our youth how to write music and encouraged them to do so for Jesus. Over the past year Aaron has grown significantly in his walk with Jesus and is emerging as a leader. Aaron rides the bus with Allen and helps to keep things in order while the bus is in motion. His bus experiences have inspired a song he wrote entitled "Swang Wide". Aaron has recently released a rap album. To hear a few tracks check out the "Sounds" page.
Amanda Trader
Amanda just has an amazing heart for kids, period. She helps as a volunteer in our ministry at Rosedale while she coordinates another inner-city youth ministry called Turner House, and she also works a full-time job. Amanda is a very dedicated volunteer and is vital to our bus ministry as she rides the bus with Allen, keeping the kids under control so that Allen can focus on the road. Amanda invests in the jr. high and sr. high girls and does an amazing job of encouraging them to follow Jesus with their lives. She has been serving at Rosedale since May 2007.
Brice Sanner
Brice has been serving at Rosedale since August 2007. He has worked his way into the elementary boys ministry and has been leading the boys Sunday School since January 2008. Brice has an amazing heart for the kids and all enjoy his company. Brice started a baseball team for the 9-10 year olds in our church and has accomplished some great things as the manager of the team. None of the twelve boys on the team had played baseball before so Brice patiently taught them and led them in the right direction. Most importantly, Brice provided them with the opportunity to succeed at something positive, which has happened numerous times. The team recorded their first victory on June 17th, 2008. Go Giants!!
Jamie and Darren Cornell
Jamie and Darren were married on July 12, 2008. Congratulations!!
Jamie has been at Rosedale since Summer 2007. She has been very involved in the ministry to teenage girls. On a monthly basis the jr. high and sr. high groups split up into guys and girls. Jamie leads these sessions with the girls and has an amazing heart to reach them.
Darren works with the jr. high and sr. high guys. He has extensive experience working in urban youth ministry as he spent a year in Washington DC working with urban youth prior to coming to Rosedale in Spring 2007. Darren brings an amazing servant heart to our ministry and he is amazing to be around as he communicates his genuine love for others.
