Matt Lee - Lead Pastor
Matt grew up in Joplin, MO, before moving to Fort Scott, KS, where he graduated high school. Matt remembers clearly the moment in high school when he believes God called him to work with those who hurt and are broken. Since then God has been leading Matt on a journey, preparing him and leading him to Kansas City in August 2007 on that journey. Matt has a B.A. in Religion from KCCBS and is currently working on his MA in Counseling.  He has been an assistant pastor, interim pastor and lead pastor in his seven years of ministry. Matt knows quite well the struggles of leading but has proven to lead with a Christ-like spirit and a servant's heart. His interests are skiing, basketball, philosophy, theology, and travel.

Allen Elsey - Youth Pastor
allenelsey.jpgWhen Paul in 2 Timothy 2:1-7, describes that a pastor is to fight like a soldier, train like an athlete, and work hard like a farmer, we're pretty sure he had Allen in mind. Allen is a clear picture of Christ and clearly has been called to a lifetime commitment of service to draw youth to Christ. He strives to lead youth into an ever-growing relationship with God. His interests are hanging out with kids, playing basketball, 'trying' to be funny and working at Operation Breakthrough. "I enjoy jumping from high places and trying to bring kids (up) from low places. I try to be happy in all places and be a positive impact for change in most places. My favorite place is any place God is." Allen is not only a fighter but he is an amazing servant. He drives the bus which picks up around 45-60 youth for weekly church services/activities on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Curtis Biswell - Music Ministry Director / Valerie Biswell - Childrens Ministry Director
curtandval.jpgCurtis took on the responsibility as the Director of Music Ministry in 2002. He serves in many roles at Rosedale but his main responsibility is leading the praise and worship on Sunday mornings. He loves anything that has to do with music, and is thrilled that he is able to use what he loves for God. When asked about his interests Curtis stated that he, "enjoys playing golf, basketball, ping-pong, you name it."

In the fall of 2001 Valerie came to Kansas City in pursuit of a college degree after finishing high school in Fort Scott, KS. While attending college at KCCBS, Valerie met Curtis and a few years later they were married. Valerie also met Pastor Allen while she was at KCCBS. Allen invited her to come and help with the ministry at Rosedale. Valerie did more than come and "help the ministry". Valerie has been the director of the childrens ministry since 2002. It is a testiment to her patience that she still serves with the children as it can be very trying to work with the young children.

Valerie and Curtis bring a united heart for Jesus and willingness to do whatever necessary to accomplish our mission.
